Those who long for love Look for someone to give it to them Not realizing they are showered with love From the soul of every person From the rocks on the mountain From each star in the heavens From the tiny violet beside the path
I love the photo and the poetic words. They are all so true. We are loved. All we enjoy on this earth in nature and the heavens show our Heavenly Father and Savior’s love for us. We do live in a beautiful world with all their creations.
Blessings and hugs!

Isn’t that a sweet photo? I love the heart shaped leaf with the little violet. Glad you liked the poem. Thanks for commenting, LeAnn.
For many, experiencing an all encompassing love is often challenged by the forces of self-sabotage, self-loathing, and passivity. Possible antidote: seeing my neighbor as myself. And who is my neighbor? The soul of another, a mountain, the night sky, and I must include puppies. Ha! None of this is easy , but arm in arm, is clearly worth the challenge. 🙏
So true about self-sabotage. When I was writing and teaching about happiness, the first step was always giving yourself permission to be happy. Similar to love — first step is self love. Hmm, on second thought maybe the first step is loving puppies. Puppies! Always! Thanks for commenting, Keith.
